On July 22, 2026, we will begin the Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for Oxford County. We will guide municipal teams through this process over several weeks and once completed disseminate the final countywide assessment to all stakeholders. The results of this assessment will inform planning efforts, exercise and training needs, as well as equipment gaps and organizational readiness, and can be used to support budget requests, municipal or agency federal grant funding requests and will serve as the baseline for updates for Municipal EOPs, the County EOP, and Hazard Mitigation Plan.
